The Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) is a background screening package advised by the UK Government and has been in place since 2009. The BPSS is a package of checks that meets the baseline employee checking standard used for anyone working within or on behalf of a government department. It is also a basic entry-level standard that organisations in the communications, energy, and financial sectors.

Following a rigorous interview process, we run our own standard and enhanced BPSS and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks on every Pioneer before they are onboarded, performing regular checks to uncover any changes thereafter.
