Pension Insurance Corporation has a 40,000 square foot space over four floors in the heart of London’s financial district. Some of the space is Grade II listed and some of it is more modern. They employ 420 staff and are growing exponentially.
What was the challenge
The previous cleaning provider was not providing a quality service to the client. The equipment on site was not fit for purpose and operatives had not been trained properly.
Pioneer FM Approach
The Pioneer FM mobilisation team regularly surveyed the site before go-live to ensure we had everything in place that was required to transform the delivery of the cleaning service. New equipment, materials and software was implemented alongside our bespoke employee engagement software, Connecteam. We dedicated one of our Area Managers to the contract for the first three months of service to ensure a smooth transition to the agreed delivery model with our new partner.
The Benefits and Key Achievements
Pioneer FM has created a real partnership with Pension Insurance Corporation. We have developed the cleaning service with them as they have grown. We have implemented chemical free cleaning and helped them improve their recycling rates. Our biggest achievement was taking on the management of the maintenance within one year of working together. We proved ourselves as a reliable partner, helping the Facilities Manager to provide an exemplar service for his building users.
